The Big Get Together

On Sunday, I went over to Megan's house.  She has a beautiful house in the country--with a spectacular view! Perfect weather to play outside all day--and all the fresh air made me super tired that night.

It was also the first time that our Dads were able to join us for our usual get togethers.  I also got to meet a cat for the first time.

Here's Chloe and I taking our naps in the shade

What a feat!  We're all looking in the same direction!

Osterley--West London

This past weekend, I met Daddy's old friend Ben, his wife Vicky and daughter Isabella.  She's only four weeks old but I found her cute.  She slept for most of the time that I was there.

Here I am trying to hold Isabella's hand--but she seems bored with me!

I also got to meet dogs for the first time.  They were very friendly, especially Alfie!  I got to stroke them and we went for a long walk together.

My Latest Discovery

This week I discovered...the fridge!  When Daddy opened its door while holding me, I was in heaven!  I love the fridge because it cools me down and there's tons of things to stare at on the shelves.  But I can only look at the inside so long or the food will go off (says Daddy).

Father's Day

This past Sunday, I celebrated Father's Day with (surprise! surprise!) my Daddy!  I started off the day by making him a delicious breakfast.  Then we played together and finally, Daddy had to wake me up to go to the park.  It was a great day and he really liked the presents I bought him.

Wish I could have some!

Here I am practising sitting up.

Visiting the North London International School

On Tuesday, Mommy took me into her school to show me off.  I was very good and really enjoyed all the art displays (especially the leaves dangling from the ceiling).  Amy got to hold me again and I fell asleep in her arms (what a natural!).

Afterwards, Mommy took me across the street to meet Ivy.  Ivy is 87 years old and recently retired this year as The North London International School's tea lady.  I loved Ivy's glasses and big smile.  She even gave me 3 pounds to put into my piggy bank!

I couldn't keep my eyes off Ivy!

3 Months Old!

New things I can do:  With support, I can stand (I love standing!).  I also smile more often and I can laugh.  I've started to like bath time (or at least I don't scream during it).

Toys I enjoy playing with : My lion and giraffe which dangle from my play mat and my friends hanging from my mobile.

Games I like to play: Standing on laps, dancing with Daddy and rubbing nose to nose.

Funny Things I do:I help hold my bottle as I feed; my eyes pop out when I'm excited.

My favourite way to be held: Under my arms in order to help me stand up; being held cheek to cheek.

How I've been sleeping: Just moved into my bedroom and I can fall asleep on my own at night.  I sleep from 8:30-7am but I hate taking naps during the day.

Bedtime Stories

Every night, Mommy and Daddy take turns holding me in the rocking chair while the other one holds the book.  It's always the same.  First, a read through "Goodnight Moon" followed by Mommy and Daddy singing me lullabyes from the Lullabye book.  I now love looking at the pictures!  And to end the routine, it's the "We Love Liam" song.  I've just moved into my room and it hasn't been so bad so far (but Mommy says she misses me loads!).

My First Trip to a Playground

To celebrate Daddy's end of his holiday, we took a long walk.  We explored new areas around Welwyn Garden City.  We discovered that there was a park around the corner from us--and surprise, surprise--it had a playground too!  Some may say being 12 weeks old, I wouldn't enjoy it too much but that wasn't true!

My visit to St. Albans

I visited St. Albans once again.  It was a lovely and very warm day.  We had a cream tea at Abigail's tearoom and reminisced about my Godmother Natalie's last visit there.  But poor old Mom and Dad--they sat down in wet paint by accident!

Here I am waiting in the car...
