My First Holiday

I've just come back from my first holiday.  We went to Dorset!  Where is that?  I had no clue.  I was stuffed in the backseat of the car, surrounded by all my gear.  Mummy's packing didn't forget anything!  I had so much fun at the B & B, making friends with everbody.  I even entertained them all with my chatter during breakfast.

I got to see the sea for the first time but wasn't daring enough to go in.  Perhaps next year.  Mommy and Daddy also teased me by eating ice cream in front of me and not sharing.  Not fair!  But I did enjoy going out to restaurants because it once again gave me the chance to look at interesting light fixtures on the walls.

Since I was very good in the car (hardly complained at all!) and a great sleeper away, they promise to bring me on holiday again one day.  I can hardly wait!

These are the many steps that Mom carried me down and Daddy carried me up!

Here's Mom and I in my carrier at Durdle Door

The whole family at Durdle Door--boy, was it windy!

Here I am driving to our B&B--just joking!

Here's Daddy and I at Westcliff Beach, Bournemouth.  I know I'm quite covered up, but I didn't want to burn!

Here's where Daddy used to let Uncle Jamie go in the stroller--but he held on tight to me!

A bit knackered from a day out.

Daddy and I with the lion--aren't we brave!

Mom and I at Highcliffe Castle, Christchurch

I was so happy and laughed a lot!

Here I am climbing a tree.

A bit sad that the holiday has come to an end.

Good Bye Wessex Gardens

On Friday, Mommy and Daddy took me to Wessex Gardens, the school where they both met.  I got to meet all their friends there.  Everyone tooke turns holding me.  I was pretty tired but didn't cry too much.

Out and About

At the beginning of the week, my friend Karolina spent the day with Mom and I.  Karolina is about to move to Berlin so it was really nice seeing her again.

Big Smiles!

Today I spent the day with Chloe and Megan.  Mom was nervous about driving to Megan's as she lives off a very narrow road, wide enough for only one car!  But she did it and we got there safe and sound.

It was also the first time that Chloe and I lasted long enough in our baby carriers in order to enjoy a walk.  The fresh air made us nod off to sleep!

Megan, being a real pro, taught Chloe and I how to dangle!

Here I am just before falling sleep.

4 Months Old!

New things I can do:  I'm good at tummy time and can push myself up; I can now laugh and shift myself 360 degrees in bed; I can blow raspberries.

I smile when:  tickled on my belly.  And I also smile all the time at Mommy and Daddy.

Baby groups I go to:  Baby massage, Baby Rhyme Time, NCT get togethers.

My favourite bedtime toys:  "Good Night Moon" book; and lullabyes.

Places I've been to:  Many shops: Morrison's, Brent Cross, WGC town centre, Ikea; Regents Park, Southgate.

Cute Things I do: Too many to name...but I still love lions so much--I love babbling to "Lion." I continue to love staring at lights on the ceiling; I also love watching the tumble dryer.

Look how strong my muscles are now!

My latest discovery--the tumble dryer!

Canada Day

This was my first Canada Day!  My Mommy dressed me up in my Canadian shirt for the occasion (and she too wore a Canadian t-shirt).  I spent the day at Brent Cross with Mommy and Nana.  I was especially good as that was my gift to Mommy for the day.  Daddy then picked me up from the mall and we drove home in time for a BBQ.  I didn't get the chance to taste any of the hamburgers but they sure did smell great.  We ended up doing a little parade around the garden where I got the chance to pose for some pictures.  Maybe next year I'll head into Trafalgar Square for the big celebration there.
I told Daddy that I can hold the flag by myself!

Here I am posing with Mom

It was a very hot day!
