My Lion

I am in love with my lion who hangs from my play gym.  When I see it, I can't help but start making gurgling sounds and moving my legs and arms wildly.  I hope it doesn't eat me!

Regents Park

The weather wasn't too nice today--quite cloudy and windy.  Nevertheless, Mom and Dad took me out for my first trip into London.  When my eyes finally opened, I was in Regents Park's rose garden.  With help from my buggy, I was able to scare away pigeons for Mommy.

Here I am asleep, thinking Mom and Dad never bring me anywhere!

My Reflux

As I suffer from reflux, I have to take two syringes full of medicine three times a day.  Some days I don't like taking it and I cry a lot.  Other times, I don't mind at all--especially when someone sings to me as I take it.

Here I am helping Daddy give me the syringe.  I wanted to show him that I'm a big boy now and can do it all by myself!

Making friends

I've had a good week.  Last weekend, Amy and Denis came over to meet me.  They were very nice but left me to go out to dinner with Mom and Dad.  Nana and Poppa took care of me and I was very good for them.

Here I am wearing an outfit knitted by my Great-Grandma Marg

I also had some friends come around to play with me.  It was great to catch up with Amy and Megan.

2 Months Old!

This is the quilt that Granny made for me!

New things I can do:  I smile at people I recognise; I can roll onto my side; I'm more aware of what's going on around me.
Funny Noises I make:  I snort and I squeak.

I smile when: I greet Mommy in bed in the morning; when Daddy makes silly faces at me.

Cute Things I do:  Stretch with my arms above my head; continue to be amazed by ceilings.

My feeding patterns:  Every four hours I eat; I love to eat but I have reflux.

My favourite lullabies:  "Little Liam" sung to the tune of Frere Jacques; "Rock a bye Baby."

My friend Chloe

This is my friend Chloe.  Since she's younger than me, I've been showing her the ropes.  This week, our Mommys went to a Baby First Aid class.  Hopefully, neither of them will have to use it on us!

Check ups

It's been a busy week medically.  I went to a cranial osteopath this week to get help with my reflux.  The nice lady touched my head and though it hasn't made much of a difference yet, I hope I can finally get rid of the nickname, "spit-up boy"!

I also had my first round of immunizations.  I was very good!  I only cried a little bit and soon got over it.

Craig's Visit

I got to meet Craig this week.  He was real nice and held me loads.  I was really spoiled by him--he bought me a little doudou to hold and some letters to help me spell my name.  One day I hope to go to Belgium to meet his son Elliott (come on, Mommy, get my passport ready!).

Later, we went out to a pub in Letty Green and everyone thought I was brilliant as I stayed quiet and asleep for most of the dinner!
