Canterbury and Ramsgate

Grandma, Grandpa J, Daddy, Mommy and I took our first day-trip out of the city.  We headed to Canterbury.  It was lovely weather, much cooler than inland.  We walked past lots of quaint shops (though I wasn't allowed tasting the fudge) and walked around Canterbury Cathedral.

A scenic picnic
After visiting Canterbury, we headed to the seaside in Ramsgate.  It was the first time I got to play on a beach.  I was just as excited to play with the pail and shovel as I was playing with the sand.  Dad and Grandpa J almost lost my ball in the sea---thank goodness Grandpa J rescued it from the water!

Watching everyone have fun at the beach.
Not impressed with the sand sticking to my feet!

Summer Heat Wave

After a few months of record rain, I finally got the chance to swim in my new pool.  It's been very hot so it's the only way I could properly cool off.  Grandma and Grandpa J are in town visiting and Grandpa J blew up my pool for me.
Grandma and Mommy better give me more room!
Loving the cool water!

I'm going to try surfing next!

Canada Day Weekend!

It has been a hot couple of days.  So hot, I had to go visit my friend Amy so that we could play together in her pool.

We loved playing with each other and did not mind when water splashed in our faces.

I have no idea what Amy is doing here.  Maybe she's pretending she's a mermaid!

The following day, Mommy and Daddy took me to a gardening centre.  It was a real treat because I got to see lots of animals!

Here I am waving at the chickens.

And here I am yet again waving at the pigs!  Why aren't they pink?

I got to chase lots of chickens around--and some were coming after me!  If only I could run!  I loved the baby goats and couldn't believe how big some turkeys were.

As we were about to leave, I heard a train tooting.  They even had a mini steam train which I could ride!  It was my first ride on a train and though I remained expressionless (until I waved madly at Mommy), I really enjoyed myself!

 My first train ride!
On Canada Day because I was so good when I was out shopping, Mommy and Daddy brought me to two different parks.  I loved the park down by Stanborough Lakes as there were plenty of children to wave at.

When we got home, Daddy started the BBQ (though I was just as happy eating only rice for dinner).  Whilst I played on the grass, Mommy took tons of photos of me waving the Canadian flag.  O Canada!
